About Jo

I fell in love with travel and adventure when I was on a truck trip through Africa at 21.

I also got my first real sense of what can make people happy.

I met people  that had very little in the way of material possessions but seemed fulfilled despite this.

Kids would run towards our truck juicy mangos in their hands, torn and dirty clothes and enormous smiles on their faces, laughing and screaming as they ran alongside.

The simple things mattered so much, like where the next meal was coming from, making sure homes had a roof and ensuring there was a connection with family, friends and traditions.

Safety - Connection - Self Awareness - Authenticity - Simplicity

It's not so different anywhere in the world really, the things that make us happy, yet we seem to become distracted by all the stuff we want and think we need, and all the work we feel compelled to do in order to obtain the stuff.

The work keeps us “busy” and sometimes overwhelmed and leaves us no time to actually enjoy the things that matter most, like family, friends and an authentic relationship with ourselves.

. We tend to sacrifice our health priorities and connection to self, as there is no time for such “indulgences”, and often misuse alcohol, food and other addictions as a way to navigate through the demands of everyday life or to avoid feeling or being connected to anything.

So despite having an early awareness of the good stuff I still managed to get caught up the world of achieving and doing and being busy, and in the midst of that forgot to focus on working out what was important to me, and how I really wanted to live my life. I spent many years in the corporate financial world crunching numbers in suits and heels until I finally decided that was not my soul purpose.

I needed to help others in a more meaningful way.

So I shuffled myself off to become a yoga and meditation teacher. Working in tights and bare feet was much more comfortable however after some time I realised that I needed to help people beyond the yoga mat.

I became a Certified Transformation Coach and Root Cause Practitioner and have continued to couple this with other holistic modalities so I have an extensive tool kit to help others... whether I was barefoot or in heels.

I have a natural curiosity and love of adventure and learning, and a desire to combine them in a way that helps you live an extraordinary and meaningful life. One you will look back on and be quietly proud of.

My purpose is to help people heal themselves.

For me healing is a return to wholeness.

To achieve wholeness AWARENESS is essential.

We work on transforming core beliefs formed in the early years that keep you stuck in current patterns of behaviour that no longer help. We explore what your body is trying to tell you, we will work out what fills you up at a soul level and then we implement actions to take inspired steps forward.

I would be honoured to help you move into a new way of being that enables you to thrive.
